Create business through circular design – Join a CIRCO track

What does circular economy mean in practice? What value can your business generate from being more circular? Which steps do you need to take to get there?

GIZ is bringing the internationally proven CIRCO methodology to Viet Nam and is looking for companies to take part in the very first tracks conducted by international experts in early 2024.

1st CIRCO Track in Hanoi:  1) Jan 4-12; 2) Jan 8-16; or 3) Jan 11-19, 2024 (tbd)

2nd CIRCO Track in HCMC: January to February 2024 (tbd)

What is the CIRCO methodology?

A CIRCO track usually consists of three one-day workshops with assignments and 1x1 calls in between. Further information is available on the CIRCO website.

DAY 1 – INITIATE: Delving deeper into the design principles of circular economy to identify loss of valuable materials in the business; thus, circular opportunities are revealed.

DAY 2 – IDEATE: Formulating circular value propositions and business models from the identified opportunities in Day 1.

DAY 3 – IMPLEMENT: Design implementation roadmap to bring circular propositions to market, participants pitching their plan to fellow trainees.

Why should your company enroll in these first CIRCO tracks in Viet Nam?

  1. Acquire internationally up-to-date know-how on circular design and business models.
  2. Identify new circular business opportunities through new value propositions and cost savings.
  3. Develop a roadmap to start the circular transition at your company in just a few days.
  4. Stay ahead of the curve in terms of market demands and upcoming regulations.
  5. Get exclusive, hands-on support from experienced, international trainers.

The first CIRCO tracks will be offered for free. Don’t miss this chance!

Who is the CIRCO methodology for?

  • Manufacturing companies (sectors such as plastics and packaging, electronics and batteries, textiles, agro-processing, construction material or others), or any company dealing with some sort of tangible products (such as gastronomy sector)
  • Companies of all sizes and from the entire the value chain
  • Companies intrigued to integrating circularity principles into their business

Per company two persons should participate: one from the business side with good understanding of the customers and another from the product design, engineering or supply chain side.
