Conduct Research on the Anti-Corruption Institutional and Governance Architecture for South Africa
The Transparency, Integrity and Accountability Programme in South Africa (TIP) supports state and non-state actors to contribute towards the implementation of the National Anti-corruption Strategy (NACS) in a whole-of-government and societal manner. The TIP provides capacity development for anti-corruption actors in the state, civil society and the business sector. In addition to the whole-of-government and societal approach of the TIP, the programme actively pursues a human rights-based orientation including gender equality.
The TIP in partnership with the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) and under the guidance of the National Anti-corruption Advisory Council (NACAC) are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified service provider to undertake research and modeling on the implementation of a revised anti-corruption institutional and governance architecture in South Africa. The NACAC has developed a baseline proposal for a revised architecture. This is part of the NACAC’s endeavors to find a lasting solution to effective and well-coordinated efforts to deal with systemic corruption in the country. The research will include international benchmarking on effective governance of anti-corruption agencies, among other things.
GIZ invites eligible and professional companies with local presence in South Africa, to participate in this Tender.
