InfoPoint Lunchtime Conference: The urban mobility challenge
Urban mobility was in the focus of the InfoPoint Lunchtime Conference on February, 20. organized by DG DEVCO in Brussels. Two global flagship cooperation instruments supported by DEVCO in the urban context were presented - both with a specific focus on the urban transport sector (including strengthening urban governance and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in urban areas). One of the displayed projects - MobiliseYourCity - is a partnership initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), the French Ministry of the Environment and the European Commission which is jointly implemented by GIZ and the French Agence française de développement (AFD).
During the Lunchtime Conference, the partners shared their methodological approach and discussed the complementarity of both instruments showcased.
