Preparation and Implementation of Events

GIZ seeks to contract a service provider to support with the preparation and implementation of a number of virtual, in-person and hybrid events.

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) supports the Presidency of the Republic of South Africa in achieving the goals of the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention (PYEI). In 2024, a number of events will be held in the context of the project to strengthen cooperation and coordination between PYEI partners, promote learning and strengthen the capacities of potential implementing organisations of the PYEI.

Tasks of the contractor relate to the following areas:

• Identifying and booking suitable venues
• Venue setting
• Invitations and participant management
• Travel logistics for the participants
• Venue setting
• Post-event evaluations
• Procuring equipment and material
• Facilitation, interpretation and documentation of events. 

GIZ invites eligible and professional service firms with legal presence in South Africa to participate in this tender. Tender documents are available to download below.
