Support for Applicants to PYEI funding mechanisms
On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the Presidency of the Republic of South Africa in the coordination and implementation of the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention (PYEI).
The PYEI has different funding mechanisms which will launch calls for proposals in 2024 to invite applications from private, public and non-profit entities that implement youth employment promotion initiatives. GIZ seeks to provide support to potential applicants with the objective of improving the number of high-quality proposals submitted to PYEI funding mechanisms while strengthening the applicants’ capacities to independently develop successful grant applications. For this purpose, GIZ is looking to contract a team of experts that will work with potential applicants to write compelling proposals aligned with the objectives of the respective fund and meet the compliance criteria.
