Handover Ceremony – Certificate of final exam process & training programmes oriented to German standards at VCMI
On October 30, the Handover Ceremony – Certificate of final exam process and training programmes oriented to German standards for 2 occupations: “Mechanics for Sanitary, Heating and Climate Technology” (SHK) and “Electronics for Energy and Building Technology” (EEB) took place at the College of Machinery and Irrigation (VCMI).
The representatives from Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dong Nai, the Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HwK) Erfurt, Germany, Programme Reform of TVET in Viet Nam (TVET Programme), leaders and teachers of VCMI and other TVET institutes participated actively in the event.
SHK and EEB are two occupations oriented on German standards, aiming to meet demands of the Green economy. Having been piloted since 2020 at VCMI, up until now 108 students at College level have been trained in these occupations. Final exam (Part 1&2) of the first pilot class, under the support and supervision of experts from HwK Erfurt, were conducted for 30 students successfully.
At the ceremony, representatives from HwK Erfurt awarded the “Certificate of final exam process oriented to German standards” for the two occupations EEB and SHK to VCMI.
With the success from implementing and assessing the two Green occupations oriented to German standards, VCMI shared experience and disseminated the training programmes to leaders and technical staff of interested TVET institutes.
