GIZ helps establish ecoparks to protect mangrove areas

Interested in the establishment of an ecopark to protect mangrove areas? Visit Katunggan It Ibajay Mangrove Ecopark in the Philippines. It has 27 of the 35 species of mangroves in the country. Check out this short video developed by the GIZ ProCoast Project.

The GIZ ProCoast Project (2018 – 2022) is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI).  The IKI is one of the key instruments of the German Federal Government to support international climate action and biodiversity. ProCoast is implemented in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Biodiversity Management Bureau.
