Training for trainers of the free bike lessons for children in Hue City
On July 23rd and 24th, the first training for trainers (TOT) course for volunteers in a series of activities of the Free Bike Lessons for Children was organised at Le Loi Park, Hue city.
During the two-day training course, the volunteers were provided with knowledge about skills to teach children to ride bicycles, about traffic safety for cyclists, about first aid to handle unexpected situations as well as were given the opportunity to instruct children to cycle under the supervision of experienced trainers.
The volunteers have successfully completed the training course and been ready to play the role of instructors in the Free Bike Lessons for Children at secondary schools in this September.
This activity is supported by the Public Bike-sharing Project which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through DeveloPPP. GIZ in collaboration with Hue City People’s Committee and Vietsoftpro implements the project under the umbrella of the “Support to Vietnam for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement (VN-SIPA)” project.
