International institutions

Clients around the world place their trust in GIZ. Alongside our work for the German Government, we also accept contracts from international organisations and governments of other countries. Our international clients include the European Union, UN agencies such as the World Health Organization, and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Governments and institutions in India, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states and other countries have commissioned us to deliver national programmes to achieve their own sustainable development goals.

The main focus of our work for international clients is on vocational training, energy and climate, health, infrastructure and construction, water, and good governance. Of course international clients can also call upon our full range of services.
