Our courses on sexual violence and sexism

Unmasking power: understanding and acting against sexual harassment and sexism“ (Classroom Training, 2 days)

Sexual violence and sexism can occur repeatedly at work – you may be the person affected, you may be working with vulnerable target groups, or you may be the manager responsible. Obviously, action needs to be taken, but you have little guidance on how to proceed. In such situations it helps to have knowledge of the subject and to have tackled it in advance, so that you can take the appropriate preventive action and tackle critical situations to protect yourself and others.

‘How are sexual violence, power structures and corporate culture connected? What legal framework exists? Which factors can I adjust in my position to reduce and prevent the risks of sexual violence? What action can I take in critical situations?’

The course examines these and other questions and offers ample space for participants to ask their questions and share their experiences. It includes specific case studies and techniques for dealing with sexism and boundary violations, so the topic is tackled not only on a theoretical level but also with specific, practical knowledge.

Contents:

  • Overview and understanding of the complex of sexual violence
  • Examining power structures, especially those in DC/IC
